3D tattoo uses pigments to replicate the areola on a persons reconstructed breast. It uses light and dark pigments to create a 3D illusion and make it appear that the person has an areola and nipple after they have been removed during surgery. The pigments are color-matched to each patient and the goal is to restore the natural appearance of the breast.
-
Time, patience and a deep understanding of color theory are used when creating a unilateral 3D areola tattoo to match the natural breast as much as possible, restoring balance to the body.
-
Areola repigmentation techniques can “create” an areola after breast reconstruction, minimize the appearance of scars, or restore an areola to a more natural looking color and shape.
-
Tattoo pigments are carefully matched for each client to blend white scars with the healthy skin surrounding it. This procedure typically requires multiple visits and is charged per hour.
-
A very soft wash of pigment is applied behind the natural brow hairs to create an illusion of fullness. This technique does not replace makeup or correct asymmetry and is meant to look extremely natural.
